Description
Annapurna base camp trekking is one of the popular trekking route in Annapurna region. It offer the quickest way to get high Himalayan altitudes where glaciers replace rivers. For the Annapurna Base Camp trekking, ascending the foothills from Pokhara, appreciating the slate-roofed tropical villages and magnificent rhododendron forests gorge when you climb higher you will get to the hidden world of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The huge south face of Annapurna 8,091m provides an impressive backdrop, while the closeness of 10 peaks over 6,000m. including Hiun chuli, Fang, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare inspire a delicious joy as a fitting highlight of this spectacular trek. Annapurna base camp trek is more distinct than any other Nepal trekking by its variety of people, rich culture, beautiful landscapes and natural scenery. It lends you to North West of Pokhara through an ancient trek to Tibet across glaciers, gorges and waterfalls. From the Annapurna Base Camp you will have a close look of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhare.
Itinerary
Upon your arrival, our representative will escort you all the way to hotel. Check in hotel, welcome drinks and be refreshed. In the evening stroll around near the hotel in Thamel or elsewhere. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight.
Arrive in Pokhara airport and our professional English speaking guide will received you and take a transport to Nayapul (915m) and begin the trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m) 4 - 5 hours
Day 03: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2810m) 6 - 7 hours
Day 04: Wake up early in the morning and trek to Poon Hill (3210m) probably the best panoramic view point in Annapurna region from where you will see Annapurna I 8091m, Dhaulagiri 8167m, Fishtail 6998m, Hunchuli 6441m, Annapurna south 7219m, Nilgiri , Tukuche peak, Annapurna II. After the views of entire western Himalayan region return to lodge in Ghorepani and serve the breakfast. After breakfast we will continue trek to Tadapani and over night at lodge. 4 - 5 hours
Day 05: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170 m) 3 - 4 hours
Day 06: Chhomrong (2170 m) to Himalaya Hotel (3345m) 5 - 6 hours
Day 07: Himalaya Hotel to MBC (fishtail/ Machhapuchhare Base Camp) (3788m) 3 - 4 hours
Day 08: MBC to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) 2 - 3 hours
Day 09: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2910m) 4 - 5 hours
Day 10: Bamboo to Chhomrong (2170 m) / Jhinu Danda. Where you will enjoy with natural hot spring.(1870m) 4 - 5 hours
Day 11: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul by trek and drive to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara city and transfer to hotel. In the evening stroll around the lake side or take your evening as leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: After breakfast at hotel. We will transfer to domestic airport for your onward flight to Kathmandu. After 30 minutes of flight you will be landing in Kathmandu domestic airport. Upon your arrival our representative will received you and transferred to hotel. This day will be reserved as leisure for your own activities/shopping etc.
Day 13: After breakfast at hotel your sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bhaktapur Durbar Square will begin. After long day city tour you will be transferred to hotel and be refreshed. In the evening we will take you to the typical Nepalese restaurant where you can have Nepali local food with culture show program. Return to hotel and overnight.
