Everest Base camp trekking is famous trekking route in Everest region. Lukla to Everest base camp trekking, you will enjoy with huge numbers of Himalayan scenery including the top of the world Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Thamserku, Island peak etc, Tibetan Sherpa culture, Monastery and wild animals in Sagarmatha National park. Lukla to Everest base camp trek make amazing experience of trekking in Nepal Himalaya and domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla also shows you a wonderful scenery of Everest Region.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu (1,334m), transfer to hotel and welcome drink.
Day 02: Katmandu to Lukla by flight and overnight at Phakding (2830m) 3 - 4 hours
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,480m) 5 - 6 hours
Day 04: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization. (Hike to Thame for Himalayan scenery, visit Monastery & wildlife animals)
Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3,890m) 4- 5 hours
Day 06: Tyangboche to Pheriche (4,250m) 4 - 5 hours
Day 07: Pheriche to Lobuche (4,910m) 5 - 6 hours
Day 08: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,180m), after lunch continue to Everest Base Camp(5,500m) and overnight at Gorakshep. 3- 4 hours
Day 09: Gorakshep early in the morning hike to Kalapattar (5,545m) for best
Himalayan views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Thamserku etc. and lunch at Lobuche and overnight at Dingboche (4,345m) 4 - 5 hours
Day 10: Dingboche to Tyangboche (3,890m) 4 - 5 hours
Day 11: Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar 4 - 5 hours
Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla 6 - 7 hours
Day 13: Lukla to Katmandu by early flight, leisure
Day 14: Katmandu valley sightseeing with different monuments listed on UNESCO world heritage sites
